'Um..'
She pondered for a few moments. Her ears swiveling to the sounds around them. She was anxious to shut them up. But her attention went back to Andy.
'English?'
She spoke more of a question slightly. She couldn't really speak to well in order for him to understand. Afterall she was only mimicking what she had heard.

"English?" Andy shook his head, showing that he wasn't exactly catching on to what she was trying to say. His tail flicked lightly, showing his slight bordeom with everything around him. He was already tired of his blindness. Black was quickly losing it rank in his favorites list of colors.

Amara nodded slightly to his words.
'Yes..English..Teach hmm?'
She said silently and slunked to her haunches in front of him and wagged her tail.

"English?" Andy chortled.
"I'm not a teacher, dog, go find someone else."
He side stepped her so as not to collide with her.

Amara nodded and pushed herself up to follow him once more. Her paws keeping each step behind as she kept her pace distance to his.
'Ok..Mr. Kitty.."

"...English..." it had to be the dullest language ever created. The words were so bland and harsh. There was no class to the language in Andy's mind and it seemed to be the rudest way to speak to someone.
"Maybe I can teach you the basics..." he sighed, wondering just where he should start. "How good are you at remembering things?"

Amara perked up her ears to his words and grinned lightly.
'Basics?'
She pondered a few moments and grinned as much as a dog could and stepped further with him.
'For long time.'

"Good, then I don't need to keep repeating things for you." Shoving his hands into his pockets, he took a moment to think about just where he should start. Pointing to the road, he started, "That's what we call a 'street'. On the street, people 'drive' their 'cars."
He said each word slowly, making sure he was easy to understand.

Amara listened very carefully to each word he pinpointed. Her eyes wavering over to each item he pointed and named.
'Street..Cars..No walk in street...'

"There. You've got the idea"
Shifting his weight for a moment, he took the time to look around. Shifting his index finger into his fist, he extended his thumb and motioned his hand toward the buildings at their side.
"Buildings." He said, labeling the objects. "People work and live in buildings." Again, he said each word slowly for better comprehension.

'Buildings?'
Her eyes went straight to the buildings where people were walking in and out of them. She grinned lightly and nodded to Andy.
'People..not food?'

He looked in her direction, an amused smile gracing his lips. "Yes. People, not food."
Turning his head to the concrete beneath them, "This is a sidewalk. People out of cars walk on the sidewalk. Pedestrians are people who walk. Pedestrians walk on the sidewalk."

Amara agaped her maw as if to laugh but shook her head and shut her maw. She looked down at the sidewalk and stepped around it. Her claws extended to make a clicking noise here and there as she walked. She halted in front of him.
'Amara walk on sidewalk.'

Stopping as her warmth moved ahead of him, he nodded to her words, "That's right." he muffled a small luagh, "It's a smarter move than trotting down the street."

(o______O -breathe- SAMMMMMEHHHH!!! -tacklesglues-)
Amara nodded slowly and lightly chuckled in a weird awkward dog kind of way.
'Even though metal-objects Amara withstand.'
She adjusted herself and nuzzled the bottom of his palm and whined lightly. Giving it a light lick like a 'normal' dog would do to its master.
