I posted this because this is his first Roleplay. So if you don't get any of my explinations... then you can double check, because all of his picture URLs are here!

In the middle of a vast field of flowers and tall grass, next to a shimmering unpolluted lake, was an old forgotten cathedral. Parts of the roof had crashed down, pues were broken and forgotten. No one knew what happened to this place, or why it ended up like this. Whatever God or Goddess was worshiped here had long since been forgotten. The outside of this gray cathedral was twisted and entwined with roses that had vined up the outer walls. The inside was dusty and dank, the only light was that of the sunlight that spilled in through the hole in the roof. Under it were stones that had fallen from age.
A tall man, about 6'1" sat in a pue. He stared blankly at the ceiling, examining the area with his golden eyes. He wore a black cape that seemed to shimmer when light hit it, he also wore orange clothing and from what else could be seen tan binds were worn on his chest. His arms were covered by his cloak. He had sandy looking pale skin that seemed strange for anyone but him to have where he came from. "Sanctuary..." he said, seemingly not aware of what he said himself. It seemed he had fallen asleep with his eyes open, so to speak.

Ooc- Humm, you wouldn't mind if I joined would you? I plan on using Alice (Activiticus) my Ixi. She has a reference on her look up but I'm not sure if I posted a profile for her here yet...

It was an odd thing, why she ended up in such a place. A woman appeared in the middle of the deserted area, like she materialized from nothing. She wasn't there in one second and the next she was just standing there with a blank expression. "Humm, it seems I was off..." she whispered to herself after a moment. Her expression grew troubled when she spoke, her magenta eyes flashing around the area. Well, at least it seemed rather nice. She shrugged, as if to ignore the fact of her ending up in the wrong place. But she had to figure out what to do now; that was a problem.

She didn't move at all and stayed utterly quiet until a breeze started up. The sudden rush of wind sent the edges of her light blue dress and her blond toned hair to dance in the wind. A shiver ran up her spine and her gloved hands moved to rub the upper part of her arms where they were bare. She started walking then, deciding that the cathedral would be the most interesting of things to check out at the moment. She ended up first attracted to the roses that climbed the outer walls. She examined the flowers with an unexplained fascination and carefully plucked one from the vine before her attempt to avoid the cold air. She entered the actual structure without taking notice of its other occupant. Each step she took emitted a thudding sound that echoed through the building.

His blank expression quickly changed as he gasped, and sat up. The footsteps were enough to stir him from his concious sleep. He scanned the area, searching for the sorce of the noise until his eyes led him to the girl. He bit his bottem lip and brushed his dark brown bangs out of his face. He had a cloth tied around his head that was made of the same matereal as a bandana would be. He stared at her for a few moments longer, and looked away. He stared at the floorboreds and wondered if he would continue to go unnoticed. And what he had been doing up untill this point. He stared into the sky through the hole in the celing.
He shivered as he stretched his arms, the cloak falling off them, to reveil tan and orange gloves covering arms with red and black markings on them. They were fingerless gloves so his slender fingers and sharp nails were perfectly visable as well.

For the time being, it was apparent that the male was lucky; she indeed did not take any notice in him at this very moment. As the wind died down due to the walls of the structure, her hands fell from her arms and again took interest in the flower she just picked. She twirled it delicately between her fingers, not even paying close attention to where she was walking. "Beautifully deadly, aren't you?" she spoke again in her soft voice, to herself or to the flower, whichever way you really wanted to look at it. What an odd girl, not only did her actions seem...different, but she herself was an odd piece of work. It wasn't a often sight that you saw a girl with a blue pinstripe dress, a black corset, a tattered apron and black at white striped stockings and gloves. And her eyes, well the magenta color was enough to set some people off but then the freakish markings similar to that on an evil joker's didn't help much. "But you and I are somehow alike...misunderstood by the world." The way she spoke made it seem that she was quite find of this particular flower, awed by it even.

He looked to her from the corner of his eyes. 'She dresses oddly' he thought to himself. Though, with his black shimmering cloak and orange cloathing he was one to talk. He watched her out of the corner of his eye, wondering if she would take notice of him. He observed her a bit more and assumed she liked flowers, although he had never seen a joker he was a bit thrown off by her markings. He shivered, it was still cold. He draped his cloak over his arms again, being sure to make little noise. He half closed his eyes, his feathered ears drooped slightly. He also had long sideburns, they had been cut few times when he was a boy and tied with red beads at each end. He watched her cautiously, with what he had been through, anything and everyone could be a threat, although he hoped this girl wouldn't cause him any trouble.

It was like sudden shock of realization swept through her, "Oh!" she exclaimed. Her head darted up from the object in her hand, her feet froze in mid-step, and her eyes automatically connected with the other figure a few yards away. At first she wasn't quite sure what to say, so it became eerily silent as she took in his details. She came to the quick conclusion that he must have been an odd one too. "Um, pardon my intrusion." she finally spoke up. Her own mismatched ears, one black and one white, fell back on her head from there previously pointed position from when she first became aware of him. "I had no idea anyone was here..."

He looked up to her, meeting her eye to eye, "Its fine," he said, his voice was rough and low. He hadn't spoken any words to anyone, and was unsure how to interact with people for the most part. "Your not intrudeing," he said bluntly. "You can stay here as long, or as many minitues as you wish," he told her, his gold eyes ran over her features once more. He wondered why her ears were folded back, a reaction? He didn't know.

She nodded, "Thank you." she replied again in her soft toned voice. Today must have been a good day for her, she wasn't searching for things even she didn't know, today. Usually that's how it was. She searched the world randomly for something, not knowing what exactly what she was looking for. Or, on other terms, she was often unhappy for some reason and was trying to sort things out. Today, however, was just a day to get a break. She needed to relax, to be carefree for at least a short time so she wouldn't go mad. "If you don't mind me asking," she started after a delaying hesitance, "what exactly is this place? Do you know perhaps?" She paused and then added, "For I haven't any idea."

He sighed, "I do believe... the city is East of us..." he told her, "But, what this place is, I couldn't tell you." He shook his head and smiled, "The only thing I could tell you is its absolutely gourgus," he sighed. 'Reminds me of home', he thought to himself. The sky outside was growing darker, rain was getting ready to pour in. He liked this place, it allowed him time to think.

"Humm..." she thought that over a moment. "Beauty is in interesting thing, but this place seems...wonderful." She took a slight but noticeable break when saying the last word, like it meant something more to her then it would others. Her ears perked up again, her eyes drifted up to stare out of the hole in the roof and sighed upon seeing the darkening sky. So the cold wind just before was a warning of the coming weather. "Now its going to rain us in." she spoke her thoughts aloud. "How problematic." Just what she needed, to get stuck here when she never intended to be here. "I'm Alice, by the way." Her eyes fell back to him. She didn't mind telling others her name, at least not at the moment. It wasn't like she was the only Alice in the world, it was uncommon but more common then many other names. Surely no one could make the connection, and to even have hopes of it one would have to have known the story.

His eyes looked back to her, "I'm Korenth, or just Kore," he said coolly. "I think rain is beautiful, where I come from, we don't even get drizzles," he told her. Although telling his name wasn't something he had a problem with. But his life story, that was a problem for him. He hadn't even told the people who let him bunk in there home his entire life story. He didn't even like talking about himself, but it was a rare occasion that he had company, and thats good for even the darkest of people. He looked over her outfit once more. "I havn't seen cloaths like that before, I'm guessing they probly shouldn't get wet," he assumed. He was sitting in one of the 8 pues that still had a ceiling over it. He looked back to the scenery outside, facinated in his own mind, it was rare he saw rain, though it was a pain to dry out his cloathing, he didn't mind it.

"Its a pleasure to meet you." she replied with a slight, friendly grin. She didn't want to seem as any sort of intruder or anything. "That's not very pleasing, I'd hate it if it never rained. Rain can be a wonderful thing, and its always really nice just after a storm." she sighed then, realizing how confusing she must have sounded from first saying it was problematic to showing likeness for it. "I like the rain personally on most occasion, it doesn't bother me so much if my cloths get wet either. Heck, I enjoying dancing in the rain from time to time." her voice was rather cheerful at that thought. "However, its just when traveling long distances in the rain that it can become quite difficult. With constant puddles, mud, the never ending water that falls down on you and, on occasion, the thunder and lightning, you can get stuck, sick or other things if your out in it too long in a dress and what not. I can even be quite dangerous with the right circumstances."

He nodded, "So can everything," he replyed. "But I agree with what your saying, sandstorms are what I got." He stared at the sky still, "So I guess its worse where I come from. More death, and sand getting stuck in your cloaths, wich is... always unfortunate..." he said eloquently. He pulled some seeds out of his pocket and held them in his hand, staring at them with an interesting smirk on his face. "So, are you just lost?" he asked, assumeing he was correct but asking to confirm his suspision.
