Her eyes slowly looked away from them, half-closed. She shook her head, perhaps he was right. As time grew, life was becoming a pain in the ass. So much had happened and it almost seemed like death was mocking them.
"You'll never lose me...I know it seems like it...but I will never..leave you."
She halted and swung her arms around Xyoukai in a tight hug as she buried her face into his shirt. Her arms slipped from his back as her fingertips clung to his shirt.
"Xyoukai.."
Tears began to stream from her eyes. Her tail laying limp down to her legs. And her wing laid lifeless against her back.

He returned the hug, though it was not as tight as hers. In fact, he felt as if he were only holding her in order to comfort her.
"You're not who you used to be, Love. I've already lost that much of you." he felt like an asshole saying that, but the words had come before he had time to think about what he was saying. His heart was speaking for him now, not his mind.
"Enjeru, despite you, I'm feel as if something drastic will come because of my actions. And whether or not you agree, I may have to leave you behind. I can't ...God forgive me for saying this... I can't trust you anymore."
He was expecting an all out retort from her. An endless flux of apologies and a bleeding heart response. He wasn't sure just how she'd react to that, but he knew she'd probably be devastated.
"Forgive me."

"I haven't...." Her words cut off as her ears caught his next statements. She could barely understand the words that came from his mouth. But they struck a nerve in her system as she finally understood what he was speaking of. Had time changed so much for them? Had she really change? Or was he the one changing? Maybe they both were changing...
Her ears flattened against her skull as she still clung to him. But then her hold begun to loosen as the words hit her more and more. She almost felt like falling, but in reality she wasn't. She was still there, trying to find comfort in her older brother, but could not.
"Big..brother.." She couldn't say anything more. Her words were all choked up inside. She didn't know what to say anymore. Her tears probably still flowed, but she didn't know. But she closed her eyes tightly shut.

"I'm not the brother you once had either. I don't know who I am."
He looked away, his hold on her loosened a good bit before it finally slipped off of her.
"I don't know myself and I can't trust you becuase I know how you keep your secrets from me now. Something I once had is gone becuase that bond we had is now partially severed. I doubt we'll ever have it again."
He offered a faint, yet warm smile to her, hoping to ease the sting of his words, "As long as you're happy though. That's all that matters to me."

She was still dumbfounded at finding words to reply to him. What had become of the bond they had once had? For once she wished everything could be taken back and they could wonder the streets again as they once had. To play in the streets and be idiots to one another. But she couldn't. There was no longer turning back.
Everything was gone.
Her hands slipped down to her side as she looked away from him. Listening to him speak. But it seemed the world was silent to her as his words came and went.
"How can I..be happy..if..if..you are not..?"

"You tell me," his voice was still easy but the words were intentionall placed, "You've already showed me that you can be ecstatic when I'm in a world of misery."
In the short time that they spoke, he had grown bitter toward her. What he had said, he'd meant it to sting. He'd cuaght on to another of her secrets. He could see in how she choked that she was hiding something else from him. He'd not pester about that though. He feared that if he learned this secret, what was left of him would wither.

She grit her fangs together. Her palms clenching into fists as she lowered her gaze onto the ground. She was so confused right now and his words weren't helping. She was starting to hate the idea of this all. She wanted so badly to stop this world and rewind the clock.
"That's not true!"
She stared directly in his eyes now as she spoke. "It's not true and you know it Xyoukai! I felt so alone and captive when you were gone! I hated the fact you were there. I wanted so badly to get you out. I wanted so badly to rewind the clock and take it all back Xyoukai. For you!"

"Oh." he cooed, "Tell me then, why was your voice so quiet in my mind..? Why did your songs stop after the first night? Why did you block me from your world and hide away from me..?"
He growled, "It is true, and you know it. I can smell your lies."
A slight snarl echoed in his throat. He'd become irritated and could bare no more of her deceit. With another huff, he turned from her and began to walk away.

"Because I couldn't get through!" She growled lowly and eyed his back as he walked away. She trembled slightly and sneered.
"The first night was fuzzy. It was hard even hearing you. Then the connection was shorten." She was telling the truth. It was very hard to reach Xyoukai from his cell.

He scowled, still stalking away from her, his wing held loose on his back now and resembling half of a cape drapped over his back. "I don't want to hear your excuses. Love!"

She grit her fangs together and growled lowly. She disappeared and reappeared in front of her brother. She glared directly at him. "You assume to much Xyoukai! You think I wasted my time doing shit like that? HMM?! WELL?!"
She snorted and folded her arms in an annoyed-like manner. "I sat on our couch worrying over you day in and day out. I did more on the job because you were gone. I trained Andy's little pet for Xeduu. I almost got myself killed with a bullet. And you think I had sex the whole damn time!?" She growled once more and sneered lightly. "NO! I didn't waste my pathetic little lifetime washing over on my back on a bed for anybody!"

He couldn't help but luagh at her ignorance.
"Just because we're severed doesn't mean I can't see through you."
He pushed past her, not casting a second look. His tail whipped the air in great distaste.

She stood in silence, looking emotionless at him. So he knew? But it didn't change or matter anymore. Her ears went flat against her skull and tucked her tail. She dug her hands into her pocket.
"If you knew...then there was no reason for me to fear your reaction. If you really want the truth Xyoukai. Then can you atleast settle for a second to let me explain. That's all I ever wanted from you."
She half-choked slightly. "We were on the threat of death once Xyoukai. And I know death is probably a better life then this one. And I'm not here to act sour or act like some drama queen. I could have just not helped myself and died, taking you with me. But did it happen? Darling brother, do you forget?"

"Because I feared your reaction. Your assumptions Xyoukai. Everything." She grunted slightly and went to grab her brother's arm.
"I didn't pristine my body to another man for the sake of sensation Xyoukai. I did it because I had a liking to him. I didn't do it for pleasure or lust my dear brother. Why do you feel such hate for that? Don't you ever feel such a liking? Because I know I burden you down." She perked up her ears. "What we were taught? Agreed?"
