He looked up from the park bench. He sighed, looking beyond the park, and to the city. It seemed quiet. It wasn't.
His blue fur was clean, which he supposed was good, and he'd finally gotten his pink wings to been semi-transparent. He wore simply clothes, jeans, and a black T-shirt. Black like his eyes. However, he supposed at least his mood wasn't black.
Bored rather.

Dark navy blue eyes studied the park. Another beautiful day in the park. If only she could really be thankful for it's true beauty. An aisha of fifteen walked along the dirt path. Her blue fur was clean, her orange hair was smooth even though she hadn't have a shower in so long. Clipped in her hair was a feather hair clip, something she had treasured for a long time. She gripped her messenger bag, it held some essentials.
The girl was wearing a grey turtle neck, the sleeves had been cut off. Replacing the sleeves we're fishnet fingerless gloves. She also wore jean short shorts. She also wore her dirty old runners. They one had been black and blue but now they looked more grey because of the dirt.
Even though this girl had a rich daddy, she didn't live with him. She lived in a cardboard box. She didn't mind it. The one thing she did mind, was being hungry. When was the last time she had fodo? She couldn't tell. She didn't have money to eat food. What a tragic life she lived. Then again she was so childish that everything was just a game to her. But...today...she was just too depressed.
She had lost all her friends, because they we're grown up and we're in danger. They told her she wouldn't understand and would only get in the way, so they just got up and left her like that. It wasn't her fault she was like this, all she wanted was a friend...

He felt a wind pick up. There had been odd weather occuring in the city for the past week or so. With sudden rains, and snow, to bright sunshine. It was a wonder there were not more than the usual Armageddon crazies running around.
He looked up. A girl stood a bit away. She looked like the only person in the park, of course it wasn't summer, so one shouldn't expect crowds. There was something odd about her, that caught his attention. Maybe it was because she looked so young, or because she looked emoish.
He wondered.

Satou ran her fingers through her shoulder length orange hair. She looked around. Something caught her eye, a boy. She studied him for a couple moments. She smiled at him. It was nice to see someone in the park. She enjoyed the park, especially in the summer time. Satou rubbed her cheek, there was a bit of dirt on it now. Satou then looked around. He was the only one around, which made her frown. She sighed and started to walk again.
She saw a nice tree which still had some of it's leaves left. She decided to sit down under it. She sat down and looked through her messenger bag. She then pulled out a paper frog, which had been tapped. Someone must have ripped in, since the girl would never do that. "I'm so sorry Kaeru, I didn't want those mean people to hurt you" she whispered. Alright so she was talking to the paper frog...that doesn't make her crazy does it?
Maybe she was a bit crazy. Then again without food, without shelter, without love...wouldn't you go a bit crazy too? Even before she was on the streets her only friend had been the silly paper frog. Why she held onto it all the time was too hard to explain with logic. She just loved the paper frog.

He smiled breifly.
He looked away at a flitting bird, before looking at her again. She was talking to a paper frog.
He wasn't sure what propelled him forward. Something did. He stood up, and walked over to her, looking down. "What's your frog's name?"

Satou smiled as she studied the paper frog. She giggled. "Ya maybe today someone really nice will give us some money for some food" she chirped, "but I can go without food for another day, I'm fine" She lied, she wasn't fine. She was dying inside. Then she saw a pair of feet. She blinked and slowly looked up to see the boy from before. She smiled happily.
"Oh his name is Kaeru" she said, "in Japanese it means frog" She giggled. "What's your name?" she asked, "mine is Satou Neko, in Japanese it means Sugar Cat"

"Mine is Nicholas Pai, it means... Erm, I don't really know. Although I think Pai is a type of drink." He smiled. "How long have you known Kaeru?"

"Wow Nicholas Pai?" she asked, "that's a cool name" She giggled. "I really don't know if Pai is a drink but if you look on the Internet you might find it" she said. She then looked down Kaeru. "Oh, I made him when I was a little girl' she said, "I was really lonely back then" She sighed. She then looked at him, smiling happily. It was nice talking to another. "So do you come to the park often?" she asked.

He shrugged, "Just sometimes, to get away from everything, you know? I'm an only boy stuck with three girls... Things just kind of wild at my house. "Do you have any brothers, or sisters?

Satou listened to him, his words stung her heart a bit. "Actually I'm an only child" she said nervously, "I don't know what you mean about getting away...since I don't have to live in what you call a wild house" She thought of her bix. Someone was probably jumping over it, or maybe it went soggy and grew moldy. She zoned out. She held onto Kaeru tightly, not wanting to let go of him.

He watched her reactions. They seemed odd. "Are you okay...?"

Satou quickly shook her head, his voice had brought her back to reality. "Yes yes, I'm fine" she said smiling, "a-OK!" She laughed. She put Kaeru on top of her head. She hugged herself slightly. "Why wouldn't I be okay" she rubbed her cheek before hugging herself again. She still had dirt on her cheeks. Her navy blue eyes sparkled, she was still so very happy. She hadn't talked with another in a while.

He blinked. She didn't seem okay. What with talking to a paper frog, and hugging herself. "If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing out here?"

Satou rubbed her arms. She pondered over an answer to give to him. She kept quiet for atleast five minutes, nothing came to mind except the truth. "Well I'm always here at the park, I have nothing better to do" she said, "unless I wanted to spend all day at my...ummm..home" She grinned. She didn't have to say it was a house, just a home. House and home we're not the same thing. Home is where you live, a house is a structure made of wood, brick etc. that you call home.

He smiled. "Well I guess it's always nice to spend a lazy day here."
