He nodded, grasping Riley's hand and shaking it politely. "Its a pleasure. I'm Renoshi-Kage. Renoshi, if you will." Ok, so he could be a gentleman but who really wanted to go by a first name that was actually two? And besides, Kage meant shadow and from how he was normally that just wouldn't work for him. On the other hand he went by Kage when when pursuing his work.
"I'm glad you like my card tricks." he said, finally showing something besides a blank face. "Its something I picked up in my younger days, and was perfected and changed much later."
He held up the hand with cards again, fanning them out and snapping them together in a stack again, this time to find they had disappeared from any visable sight.

"That's an interesting name," Riley made a point to say, no, she had no idea that Kage meant shadow, she were merely pointing out that it was not common. Once more, she watched as he held out the cards, smiling lightly as he made them disappear. "Well, it's always nice to know," She began to say, hands on her hips now, she continued. "And sometimes it's just nice to watch people try and figure out what you did, and laugh later at their baffled expressions." She absently added, glancing up and down the street, she suddenly remembered she had his wallet, and put her hand behind her back ot gracp it once more.
"At some point, I thought perhaps you had realized I had taken your wallet, or was in the process of doing so," She told him, hand coming out from behind her back with it once more, unopened and the insides intact, as mentioned before, she had no interest in robbing him of anything. "Though you didn't ask for it back..." Her voice trailed off, as she curiously examined his expression, "So tell me, did you know? Or didn't you?"
Once more, her hand extended, though, this time to hand Renoshi back his wallet.

Renoshi nodded slightly. "I suppose." he agreed. His name was pretty odd, but where he came form it was probably a little less surprising to hear. Not that he could remember much about that.
"Ahhh." he said looking down at the wallet in the other's hands. " I did. I told you the trick to magic, or things similar to it, really lies in seeing through it and turning it back at the user." He smiled a sly smile. "Of course I really didn't care if you took it or not. Money really doesn't mean anything to me, so I figured you could have it if you went through the trouble of getting it." he paused. "And besides, having it taken was a mere loss of seeing your work."

"That's an odd way of looking at things, the 'trouble' bit, I mean," Riley then said, a brow rose some, though, she could see where he was coming from with this. "Most people would get angry if they thought I intended to swipe their wallet," She then began to rambled some, ears twitching softly as she spoke, "Much less catching me in the process of doing so. More so if it wasn't a crowd effort, and I seemed to merely be talking to distract them." Riley seemed to be speaking from some experience, and she was. She had both learn and grown from her mistakes, and treid not to experience the same twice.
Her hat hand long been tucked under her arm, as she very well couldn't use her hands with it taking up all the finger space, absently, she tossed it into her pack, which was feet away, and resting up against the wall. At this, she merely cracked her fingers. Gah, that happened a lot. Her fingers seizing from the tension of the swift, steady and quick movements she had to make. Though, a small price to pay at the time...
(This is my last post for the night, it's 2:23 AM, and apparently I have to go shopping at our crappy mall, tomorrow. >.>
Talk to you later! *Runs off to bed*)

Renoshi watched her as she spoke. What she was saying made sense to most. Many people based there lives on material objects, and so it was only logical that they would dislike having there most precious object taken from them.
"I'm sure they would be, but I'd rather not be greatly attached to something like money. I'd rather not worry about it, but instead just be happy I'm alive." That was the great fact about his life. He learned to care about life itself more then materials. Its value, to him, was much much more important. Ultimate life-lesson learned the worst way ever.
"So mind if I ask what else you do beside working your 'magic?" he asked, raising a brow.
(Alright, good night then. I hope you have some sort of fun at the crappy mall. ^^ Later.)

(Eah, I didn't even fun. xD
I had to get up early and go school shopping *Eye twitches*
My freedom is soon to end.)
Riley gave her head a soft nod. Renoshi seemed to have a great out look on life. To put life itself above money, the currency in which we need to survive, more or less. In most cases, at least. I suppose not all people need money, but rather live off the land, but that's a whole other story.
"Oh, I don't mind," Riley assured. She, by no means, lived in luxury, but she was not ashamed of any aspect thus far. Not her small apartment, or her lousy job. She did what she had to do to survive. "I'm a waitress," she told him, ears perking up some in a random twitching motion. This job provided her with some of the money required to live and dwell in the city, though, as she was standing on the street, and performing her 'magic' one would assume that it didn't always prove to be enough.
All in all, she got by, and that's what really mattered to her. Survival...

(That sucks. My freedom ended five days ago. I just finished my first week of going back to school.)
Renoshi's ears twitched as he listened and processed Riley's words. "So you're a waitress. That explains why you seem to enjoy coming out here and doing tricks. I don't think serving things to people would bring much excitement to one's life." He smiled lightly.
Somethings often bored Renoshi, yet he could also enjoy many simple things. But that didn't really matter, hardly anyone could tell the difference. If any stranger were to look at him they would only see that blank expression marking his face. The same one Riley experienced when he first approached.
"What are you planning on doing now?" he then asked suddenly. "From the looks of it," he said, glancing around. "it seems everyone else has cleared out."

(Ew, sorry to hear that. :/ )
"Not at all exciting, I'm merely a slave as I wear the... Outfit, I suppose you'd call it." Riley lightly assured, giving her head a light shake, she crossed her arms absently across her chest. Hm. Taking orders. Bringing people their food. Listening to the complaints. Oh yes, what fun. In all truth, the best part of her day started after work, when she had time on the streets, amongst people whom didn't look upon her as a public servant. Someone meant to tend to your every need, hand and foot. Moreorless, that was her job, as unhappy as that makes being a waitress seem.
Absently, Riley gave her chin a soft, almost thoughtful tap, "I have no plans," She responded with a sigh, looking around now as well, and indeed, the onlookers had long drifted apart and moved on with their day to day lives. "And you do seem to be correct, everyone has departed," Her absent voice commented while blue eyes trailed back to focus her attention on Renoshi once more. This time, without the intent to steal his wallet...

"I see...." He said, his eyes subconsciously blinking. He stopped to think about that. How life would be if you were a waitress or waiter. He really had to admit it wasn't something he'd ever choose to do. But one had to keep alive, so when you think about it you had to do something to keep your life, even if you disliked it. All in all Renoshi's job could much be considered as a waiter's one, but he didn't see it like that. Only those select few who knew the situation would understand.
"Well, since you have no plans would you like to go eat or something?" He asked, his hand reaching up to his neck again. Only this time it was the other side, and that side of his neck had a black spade marking on it. Just like the same from the playing cards.

Riley gave a soft smile, nodding her head some, "Sure, I'd like that," She told Renoshi, glancing to her feet absently. Eah, damn pack. Oh well. she could always throw it down somewhere. Her tail gently swivered back and forth for a few moments before just curling around her leg, at which Riley cast glances both up and down the street. "Where do you suggest we go?" She then questioned, folding her hands her hands neatly in front of herself.
As she waited for a response, her head tilted the slightest bit, and she was silent, eyes dancing to his neck for a he touched it once more, she seemed interested in these patterns, though made no comment as she had already asked one question. Why throw more out onto the table?
(So.. Short... *Sighs*)

Renoshi stopped to think a moment. His head ran several restaurant titles through itself, sifting carefully between each of them before coming to a few conclusions. "Well, I know of a few good places. But how about we just go to the nearest, so we don't have to go too far?" he asked.
Interesting thing. Renoshi gave up his wallet to Riley, and yet he was intending to pay for what ever it was she wanted to eat. I guess this guy had quite a few more surprises then just his abilities in magic. Yea, he had more money then what he gave to her, and he was happy to give what he did to her anyway. So all in all he did have some secrets, 'cause how many people walked around with more money then what was in there wallet?
(Eh, it seems a bit god-modish for Renoshi to have more money, but it fits into his story. So, sorry about that.)

(Eah, I don't think so.
I know I only keep coins in my money purse...
The bills usually end up in my socks. xD
But I'm weird like that...)
"Sounds perfect, I've been on my feet all day," Riley informed Renoshi. Well, considering she spent a good portion of her day waiting on people, and the rest thus far on the side of the street, if Riley wasn't use to the routine, she would likely be fast asleep by now, with aching ankles and a sore tail bone.
The female had been about to move, when she once more, remembered her bag, and bent down ot pick it up. It wasn't really a purse, nor was it a back pack. It seemed to be a cross of both, as it went over one shoulder, and rested to the hip opposite. On this very bag, there was a jack-o-latern stitched into the material to the front, directly in the center. This was more or less Riley's trademark, as everyday seemed to be Halloween to her, judging by the colours and clothing she wore.
Smiling faintly, she tucked her hair back some, and looked up to Renoshi, "Lead the way," She commented, unsure of where he had in mind to go for a bite to eat. Riley liked anything really, she'd eat more or less anything which was vaguely considered food. Mm, but she's strange, so I wouldn't advise being as brave as her food wise at times...

( ...Interesting... *shrugs* Oh well. Being weird is fun!)
A smile shone across Renoshi's face. He had never actually taken anyone, beside the one he was indebted to, out to eat at the particular restaurant had in mind. He couldn't help but wondering if Riley had ever been to such as place or not. Correct, he was planning on taking her to was of his favorite, but more expensive, places. He never really was one for the city. He was much too timid and shy for it usually. But he still had to know places to go when having no other choice.
As Riley through her bag over her shoulder he couldn't help but to look at it, and take some interest in it. Quite an interesting choice, but he wasn't one to judge about that stuff. Besides he actually liked it. "Nice bag." He said, meaning it in the best of ways.
Once she had instructed she was ready, he nodded. "Alright, its down this way." He said, turning to face down the street and began walking.
The way Renoshi held himself, even in the matter of simple walking, seemed perfected. Polite and like he held himself in a high class state of mind. It was something rather intimidating, and confusing, for many of the other people walking along the streets.

(Tell me about it. >.>)
Riley's eyes drifted to her bag for a mere moment and she gave a soft nod, "Thanks. I really like Halloween, incase you can't tell," She pointed out, outstretching a leg some and indicating to the orange, black and white striped -Almost- spandex material she wore. Riley wasn't overly sure why she loved it so much. Most people prefered Christmas, but not her, of course. She would much rather get dressed up, or in many cases just dress as she usually did, to view the costumes of the children and what not.
Folding her hands in front of her lap once more as they began to walk, Riley walked alongside Renoshi, glancing around as they went. No doubt she was very curious as to where they were headed, though instead of asking she would wait it out, and leave it to remain a surprise.
A soft sigh passed her lips as she absently kicked along, walking in a far different manner then Renoshi. Riley was much more casual as she went along, the back of her show occasionally grazing the side walk and making a scuffing sound, not that she even seemed to notice for the most part.

When Riley had spoke, and proved, her liking of Halloween Renoshi didn't really say anything. Not that he disliked it, but he thought about it, she was quite the interesting girl. She faintly reminded him of someone he knew. He shook his head. What a silly thought, them being alike. But hey, they both seemed out of place in clothing choice.
He seemed to fail in noticing the difference between there two steps. It was probably something he was used to.
His eyes glanced over to the one beside him as he began to speak, "Tell me, is there anything in particular you like?" he asked, trying to make conversation. What exactly he meant by this question was unknown. Whether referring to Halloween, food, or just things in general.
