Riley, blinking softly, rose a brow at Renoshi, obviously unaware as to how he meant her ot take this question. Though, she thought about it for a moment, and shrugged, "I like a lot of things, care to narrow the field some?" She then asked. That had been a broad question, which could hold many answers. "Or would you prefer I pick some random thing I like, and blurt it out? I could do that." She then suggested, shifting the bag on her shoulder some, an absent action that prevented the shoulder strap from cutting into her shoulder blade, and bringing unwanted pain throughout the rest of the day.
As she waited for Renoshi's response, her eyes lifted to him once more, observing his features rather curiously.

"Anything is really fine with me." he stated, without looking to her. "Learning anything about people you're interested in knowing is a gift." His furry red (Kyrii) tail swayed back and forth slowly. "Of coarse if you'd rather not know a person then asking the question of the person I did would be pointless. But if you think the person is worth knowing, then ask. And, if you're lucky, you just may learn some things about them and hopefully begin understand them, or at the very least respect them."
This Kyrii just seemed to grow more and more interesting, or at least, odd with every passing second. Not many people talked like that anymore. Some didn't even think like that anymore. So how was it that he was able to see the world in this way?

Riley gave a soft chuckle, "I see what you mean," she assured Renoshi, hands falling to her sides now, one rest absently over her bag. She almost thought he was rambling, and for a moment had lost track of exactly what he had been getting at. Clearing her throat, she thought absently for a moment, to pick out a few things she liked, no doubt. "Well," She began to say, eyes skyward as she thought, perhaps for some form of inspiration, or it could very well have been an absent reaction. "I like roller coasters, cotton candy, but I don't overly like amusement parks, go figure... " She then gave a soft laugh at herself. "I like the ferris wheel as well. But it's one of those things you have to be in the mood to do, for me, at least." She then added. And now, Riley herself was rambling somewhat, though all along the same track, thankfully. Other poor Renoshi would be lost. Beyond lost, actually, as she would likely jump topics rather quickly, then jolt back to one just as quickly as she had spat out another.

Renoshi listened intently on Riley's words. His stripeity (Made-up word for stripped XD) ears perked up and would twitch randomly, causing his hair to ruffle slightly.
"I see." he said nodding, a chuckling lightly to himself. "So I'm assuming that means you like some adventure?" it was half a question, and half not. "Excitement, I mean." Thats what an amusement park was about wasn't it? Renoshi wasn't at all positive. He couldn't actually say he'd been to one in his eighteen or so years.
He had been looking to her during the time of speech, but now his eyes fell on the sidewalk down the road. Determining the distance in his head, he figured there destination wasn't too much farther.

"Hm perhaps," Riley gave her shoulders a soft shrug, biting her lower lip absently as she tried to explain how it made her feel. "It's more about... Feeling like you're on top of the world... Nothing matters... It's just you and the sky... And I'm rambling..." She then trailed off with a sigh. What she had said was true, however, excitement was all well and good, but she liked those feelings as well.
"And cotton candy, that stuff is just awesome," Riley then added with a light smirk at the thought of the messy junk food. Yum. So fluffy and sugary. And it came in so many colours, the most common being pink and blue, of course. She sighed absently at the thought, tail swaying along with the movements of her body as she walked at Renoshi's side.

Again Renoshi practiced his listening skills, but what she said caught him off guard. His head turned quickly to look at her, with an almost shocked and confused look on his face. One thing that hardly ever, ever happened.
That was something he didn't understand. "Feeling on top of the world..." he repeated her words slowly and quietly, as if trying to unravel its meaning. Had he ever felt that way before? He truly didn't know. Sure he had felt the sensation of living again, and felt that he was able to protect a life at all costs, but something so human he just couldn't figure it out.
His eyes dropped down, pondering over those few words. It was probably something simple for her to feel and understand, even if she had trouble putting in in actual speech. And yet, try as he might, Renoshi couldn't comprehend it.

Riley watched Renoshi, brows furrowed lightly as his mood seemed to have changed significantly, or his atmosphere in general. "Is something wrong?" Her soft voice asked, wondering if she had offended him or something of the sort. All the same she couldn't think up anything which had been offending that she had said to him.
Then again, she had rambled. Had she said something she didn't mean to? A curse word, maybe? Renoshi did seem a tad of the proper side. Though Riley rarely cursed, so she didn't see herself doing so in company.
Evidently, her ears hadn't picked up on Renoshi's mumbling...

Renoshi snapped out of his little world of thoughts as Riley's voice invaded his mind. He looked at her now and shook his head slowly. "No, I'm sorry. Its just that what you said, it caught me off guard. Being on top of the world and all, I don't think I can recall hearing anyone using such an expression before." he explained. "I suppose my reaction wasn't very good. But I was actually trying to figure out what that feeling would be like." he paused and rubbed the side of his neck a little before letting his hand fall limply down once more. "I guess you could say that I'm not always the best at human feelings."

Riley gave her head a nod of understanding, "It's okay," She softly assured, smiling the faintest bit as Renoshi spoke. Both of her hands lifted up some, and she made a small, shrug like gesture before speaking, "It's a very empowering feeling," She told Renoshi, obviously trying to bring him out of the dark somewhat. At the very least give him an idea of what she was speaking of. "It makes you feel like... The world is in the palm of you hands," She then held out her own in a cupping fashion, extended infront of her body. "That the whole world is out there, just waiting for you..." Her voice trailed off once more, and vibrant blue eyes turned themselves on Renoshi, wondering now if he understood what she spoke of.
(Hm, is it 'empowering' and 'impowering'? *Ponders*
Or is it with a 'N.'
I don't quite recall... :/)

Renoshi took a moment to himself, but nodded soon after word. "Alright, I think that makes a little more sense. Maybe its when you feel like you can do anything..." he said, his two-toned eyes shifting to look over to Riley.
He smiled, a bit of sheepishness showing through. "I really still do have a lot to learn about things like that."
Of coarse Renoshi needed to learn still. He's not supposed to be alive now, and when we was actually supposed to be his life was all about mastering his battle skills. And, even now, he still is shut off from the world and from many normal activities. Some feelings, and terms of explaining them even evaded him.
(I think its impowering....yay for spell check!)

"Yes! Exactly, I don't know why I didn't just say that..." Riley was soon to muse aloud, though she merely shrugged it off. No harm, no foul, Renoshi had managed to figure out what she had meant, and all was well. Still scuffing along, she rose a slender brow at him for a moment or so, "You don't get out much, then?" She questioned. Riley was really just curious as to how he lived, as it was hard to imagine how he had never felt like he was on top of the world. Such a feeling sometimes came with something as simple as completing a minor goal one had set for said self.
Absently, she glanced around at the people whom passed her, no, she didn't recognize any of the faces, and she hadn't expected to, in all truth. Soon enough, her attention was on Renoshi once more, and she smiled softly up at him. He was indeed an interesting man, and she obviously put an amount of trust in him as they were both going to dinner...
(Ah well, I tried. @_@)

His head tilted slightly to one side at the sound of the female's voice. "Oh, yes I really do." he said, half to himself. Her reaction to his guess at the feeling puzzled him a little.
Then as the question arose Renoshi paused before answering. "I suppose you could say that. Usually I don't come to the city. I just stick around in more uninhabited areas, but, even when I do, I hardly ever interact with anyone for a time longer then a few mere seconds. Like when ordering food, or something simple like that. It doesn't take but a few words, and after that I'm pretty much just by myself."
(Eh, sortness...)

"Ah," Riley gave her head a soft nod as she crossed her arms lightly over her stomach. Looking up to Renoshi, she absently sighed, "Doesn't that get loney? I know it does for me - Being on the recieving end of the ordering food deal." She then commented. Even if she did perform her 'magic' on the street side, Renoshi was the first to approach her with speech. The other's merely watched her as if she were some form of entertainment solely, and all the aside, she was an empty shell, not a person.
Shaking her head free of her thoughts, she allowed her gaze to wonder along the streets which she often travelled. Her tail swayed once more, in a snake like motion, occasionaly brushing her ankles or people whom passed by, seemingly with a mind of it's own.

Renoshi sighed softly. "I suppose I get lonely sometimes. But I'm used to it when out in these types of areas. I don't really belong around here, so its no surprise." He shrugged. That's just how it was. Born and raised in a small forest village, and then later forced out of it when death began to strike. He then moved to another place, where only three others, four if including someone's pet, lived. The only one's he interacted with a lot were those three, and all of them were probably just as much out casted from the world as he.
As the two walked a rather large white building came into view along there side of the sidewalk. Just in its front appearance it seemed to be a more high class restaurant then expected in this particular place in the city. And it just so happened Renoshi stopped just in front of this buildings doorway. He turned to face Riley, and smiled. "Here we are." he said, gesturing toward the door.

"Mm, I guess so." Riley commented, and seemed to be about to say more as Renoshi stopped. She couldn't help but look up at the building, almost in awe, but were they really going to go inside? Slowly, her eyes trailed down along herself, she didn't exactly look like she'd fit in at a palce like this. Well, she never really fit in anywhere, though less then usual in a place such as this.
Though, she smiled back at Renoshi, and moved towards the door as her had motioned towards it, subconciously brushing her hair with her fingertips for a few moments, though was soon to stop as she glanced to Renoshi once more. Riley had obviously never been to such a place, not in her lifetime. Clearing her throat, she continued for the door, "Do you come here often?" She then asked him.
