Renoshi smiled at Riley's reaction. He could tell it was somewhat of a sock to come to such a place and it was something he seemed to enjoy seeing. Yes, he truly was fascinated with the ways of someone more used to life in the city then he. Perhaps it was the fact that, in his eyes, she was more normal then he was, and yet far from it at the very same time.
"I've been here only a few times, but I usually try to visit a place like this if I take a trip to the city." he explained, following right behind her. "Also, please don't worry about anything. You look great." He said, trying to ease the trouble of intimidation that might have come over her.

Riley entered the front door, holding it open some for Renoshi as she did so. She had no idea what they were supposed to do. Seat themselves, or wait for someone to seat them? Would they recieve a menu or would they have to read the orders off of a tablet on the wall, as she was accustomed. As she had no idea what to do, she waited for Renoshi to go along ahead of her, lead the way, if you will.
"Oh, I see... I've never been to a place like this before," She told him, though considering the way she was acting, she was sure he knew this already. At his comment, Riley smiled some, "Thanks... I can't help being nervous, I know I look nothing like people in here will expect me to." Her soft voice made a point to say, though, she did feel better about herself. Significantly better, actually...

As Riley stepped aside Renoshi took his place ahead of her in the entrance. "Don't worry about that. Just be yourself." he said quietly to her before turning the opposite direction.
The two were greeted by a waiter dressed in a black tuxedo. His eyes just passed over Renoshi without much interest, he was obviously used to dress attire, but then he got a look at who was accompanying him. The waiter seemed to stare at Riley, shocked by her look.
Renoshi held up his hand to his mouth, and cleared his throat. This immediately drew the attention of the waiter and stopped him from starring any longer. "A table for two?" the waiter asked and Renoshi just replied with the correct answer. "Right this way."
Renoshi glanced back at Riley quickly, nodding his head lightly. Then he allowed the waiter to lead them to there seats. "Here you are." he said, placing two menus down on the circular table covered in a long white tablecloth. "I'll be back when you're ready to order." With that the waiter left.
The Kyrii then pulled out one of the chairs, and gestured for Riley to sit. "Please sit."

Riley merely flashed an innocent smile at the waiter, before diverting her eyes elsewhere for the small period in which it took Renoshi to gain the waiter's attention. She seemed to sigh in relief, or her expression did, at least, tension visibly fading in her eyes and in the way she carried herself. For the most part, the female didn't usually mind people staring, and had actually grown used to strange looks, though some how in this place it was different. Most likely due to the fact that it were an unfamiliar setting for her. While being lead off to their table, Riley couldn't help but quickly scan the room once or twice, everything seemed so neat, so in order. And then there was her. Shrugging off this thought, her ears absently twitched to the faint sound of dishes clattering and of others being served. This ruffled her blonde hair some, though as soon as her ears shifted back into their usualy position, as did her choppy hair.
Riley watched as Renoshi pulled out a chair for her, obviously not used to used to that, either, as she tilted her head some. Heh. After all this time she had worked as a waitress, she rarely, possibly never, saw such behaviour. Then again, that was lower class, and he didn't seem to be. Smiling faintly, she nodded her head and sat, "Thank you," she said, resting her hands absently on her lap.

"You're welcome." Renoshi replied once Riley had been seated. He too took a seat, one just opposite of her. "Order whatever you like." he said, smiling. He picked up his menu, and began to flip through the pages.
It seemed many of the titles were from some foreign food, or at least more expensive food made up with fancy titles. Just by that it would probably make it hard to decide on what to eat. "Most everything is good here." he said, lowering his menu and glancing to Riley.

Riley slowly opened the menu, and within about five seconds had rose a brow as if to question the menu itself on the items it held. Alas, foiled by the fancy words and big titles. Slowly she set it aside and looked to Renoshi with a light smirk, "How about you choose for me," She offered, which was her way of pointing out that she had no idea what the menu was talking about in most cases. "I'll eat more or less anything... Unless it's something completely and utterly out of this world... Like frog intestines or something." She quietly rambled, moving her hands to her lap once more, mostly as it apparently was bad manners to rest your elbows on the table. Riley had never considered it so, though was trying to be on her best behaviour.
At this, her bushy Lupe tail curled itself around one of her legs, though was soon to slither itself out of this position once more, and merely rest under the table, waving back and forth occasionally as a pendulam would, long, slow strokes.
(I need a dictionary. xD
Pendulam? Does that look right to you?)

He looked at Riley a moment and just nodded. "Alright." he said, holding his menu up again. It took him a few minutes to look through the pages of the food list, each turn of the page being accompanied by soft "humms" or "ahhs". Renoshi took careful consideration in choosing there dishes, and from the look on his face he couldn't quite make a decision about something.
However, the waiter came back to stand before them. He looked at both of them, and when seeing that Riley wasn't examining a menu, he asked Renoshi. "Are you ready to order?" His voice seemed polite, but it had a hint of boredom or disliking.
Renoshi took a moment, then replied. "Yes." and with that a string of interesting food titles poured from his mouth. Including Foie Gras Creme Brule, Strawberry Bisque, and something with shrimp in its title, among a few other things. The waiter just jotted all that down as quickly as it was said and left.
(I think its Pendulum...but I'm not sure.
I just had to look up some first class dining to find a few dishes for them to eat and still couldn't find all what I was looking for...)

Riley merely sat in silence as she waited for Renoshi to choose their meals. She had shifted to the back of her seat more so, in an attempt to allow her legs to dangle over and amuse herself for the few moments in which the male read the menu to himself. Unfortunately for her, she seemed too tall for this, and had to settle with sitting in silence. However, she found interest in the room they were in once more. It was just so... Wow...
As the waiter approached them once more, her eyes trailed to him absently, glancing between him and Renoshi as he ordered. Dear God... What was he ordering? Tilting her head slowly, she soon leant back into her seat once more, hands on her knee caps now as the waiter was gone once more.
Absently, she focused on the male sitting across the table from her, smiling faintly in thanks. Finally, she realized she still had her bag over one shoulder, at which point she carefully lifted it, and slid the strap out of place before placing the bag on the floor, rubbing her shoulder subconciously as her attention lifted yet again. "That's much better..." She softly pointed out, though, was unsure if Renoshi could actually hear her or not.
(That looks right to me as well. ^_^
Heh. Cool. Did what you see look good?)

Renoshi sat in silence, keeping to himself a little. He heard the other's comment but didn't think there was much to say back that was even worth saying. Sure he could have mentioned something about her bag being heavy, or anything like that, but what type of conversation would that be.
He looked over to Riley, "Is there something you'd care to know of about me?" he asked. "I have asked a few questions of you, so its only fair I allow you to ask some questions of me."
(I saw some pretty interesting dishes. Some looked good, but some others just looked too weird to be edible.)

"Hm..." Riley paused in thought. What would she like to know about Renoshi? Well, there were plenty of things to ask, and so little time to ask them all. Rubbing her red, mesh sleeves absently she finally decided upon the first question she would ask.
"You asked me what I did for a living, so I'd like to know what it is that you do, if that's alright with you?" Riley leant forward some intently as she waited either for an answer, or for Renoshi to decline the question. All the while, the tip of her tail danced up and down the table leg, almost as if she were dusting it, minus the fact that her tail wasn't wavering at quite the speed one dusting might want to hold to get the job done.
(Heh.
Awesome.
I'd like to go to a place that served food like that just to say I was there. It would be pretty cool, I think.)

Renoshi's ears fell back in a random motion before speaking up. "A guard." he replied simply. "I protect a woman of high importance in my home area."
He had lifted his arms to rest on the table, and his hands folded under his chin as he awaited her speech again. He was wondering if that even those little details about his life were going to through her off. He didn't think it was a normal job in these times, being a guard.
(Yeah, I'd be great. I just wonder if I'd actually be able to pick something off the menu. XD )

"Like a body guard?" Riley curiously asked, stroking her hair back from her face as it had crossed her eyes. After she had spoken, her eyes dance to observe Renoshi. He didn't really look like a body guard, more like a business man, though in some sense I suppose he was that as well. Hm, either way, it was rather interesting, and made Riley wonder why this woman was so important, though, the voice in the back of her head told her not to ask, and thus, she didn't. Not now, at least.
Though the question crept up in the back of her mind once more, she forced it back with a smile, and nodded her head softly, "That's interesting. Do you enjoy what you do? Or is it simply a job?" She then went on to question, a slender brow rose.
(Mm.
I'd be like 'Enie meni mine mo... That one!'
And half an hour later I'd have a raw squid on a plate waving at me.)

Renoshi nodded. "Exactly like a body guard. The type that'll give there life to protect the one they're guarding." He replied. He spoke so easily about that fact. Not many people in the world could say they'd give there life without any fears, regret or reconsideration. It was something that didn't bother him at all, and you could tell that fact just be hearing his voice.
"I suppose you could say I enjoy it. I'm the one who offered to be a guard, and I don't have any regret about it. Even if it seems like a very difficult thing, when working I'm just glad I can be of use."
(Ha. That's great.
It could be worse, though. Like cow brain...or eyes...or something....)

Riley gazed contently at Renoshi as he spoke, unsure of what to say to his statement, so she merely nodded her head. Really, what could she say to follow the first phrase he had uttered? Somehow, nothing seemed overly approiate.
As he continued, Riley seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, "It's always nice to know you're useful." She absently remarked, raking her fingers through her hair once more. Soon enough, she rubbed her jaw, and lay one arm to rest on the table top without even realizing it.
Clearing her throat, Riley decided to move on with her questioning, both hands now limply resting on the table top. "So, what does Renoshi enjoy?" She then asked, smiling faintly and tilting her head. Too her, this subject seemed somewhat less awkward, as she had no clue how to respond to his words, and it wasn't that she didn't want to, she would have loved to ask a few more questions about his life as a body guard, though had pegged it as none of her business.
(Ew.
A plate of cow eyes... Just staring up at you... 'We're watching you'
*Shudders*)

Renoshi sat in silence, his ears falling back along his head, tail swishing slightly back and forth, and his eyes falling closed. He looked rather peaceful in this state. His expression was soft, as if very calm as he thought of appropriate answers. It was sort of hard to describe some of his likes, due to the fact his life was much different then her's.
His eyes opened again, signaling his coming speech, "Aside form my work, and training for my work, I enjoy card games, some reading, drinking tea, coming to places like these to eat..." and his voice trailed, unable to think up anything more for the time. "But, if you want to know what I absolutely hate, its hospitals and doctors."
