Ooc: Please forgive me if this doesn't make the most sense, I'm rather tired since I got little sleep last night. But I really wanted to start roleplaying, so I tried. This is starring my odd Ixi known as Alice. The girl who created Wonderland, and ended up being known as the Puppet Master. For the record she's around the age of seventeen. Oh, and this is furry anthro.
The eyes of an evil joker staring back. That was what was happening to the Ixi and she looked upon the pool of liquid. Sure the puddle was murky with the dust of the vast forest, but her twin, her side she could only ponder over, known as a reflection, stared back at her perfectly.
Things, as she said, were black and white for her. The world held little color, little truth, in her eyes. No, she didn't see in black and white or any ill thing like that, but thats how she often thought when referring to this world. It was a land built up on lies, cheats, and betrayal. Only a few would seek the reverse of this, and normally it was the victims of these horrid fates.
Correct, this girl was a victim searching for a shine of hope to bring better things. It was her goal to change what was now. She, herself, fell to insanity when no one believed her, or believed in her. But what no one could understand is that she wasn't crazy, until she was treated so. If you were sent away by the people dear to you and forced to bare high voltage shock-treatment everyday, you'd become angry too.
That was her problem now. She had escaped the asylum years ago, and got better once she was away from those who could only hurt her. But, even now, she was still lost within herself. She would go about life helping out when she could, which her ways of such were really strange, but she was like a broken mirror held together with tape.
Water splashed up in drops, glittering in the little bits of sunlight that fell through the trees, as the girl walked straight through the puddle, and her reflected self. She was sick of thinking about everything, and now she had just got back from her most recent visit to the world of her mind, Wonderland. So she should actually be rather happy, and to be honest, she was in one of her better moods.

ooc: Is the setting Wonderland, then? Or just the forest, because I'm not sure how my characters would end up in Wonderland. May I join?

ooc: No problem, I'm just not the smartest at the moment. bic: Bright blue eyes scanned the forest, this probably wasn't the best place for him to be. Or at least this is what Refaine thought, as the slight pyro flicked a lighter open and closed in one hand, while the other was casually pocketted in baggy brown pants. The ixi also wore two layers of orange shirts, both different tones of brown, and worn out sneakers. Two, twisted horns protruded from the top of his head, which was covered by shaggy black hair. He yawned lightly, walking through the damp ground that appeared to have been recently rained on. He cocked his head slightly to see another in the distance. What a random place to see people, he though, deciding to be social today. He approached, smiling lightly, and said a simple "Oi." As a greeting. Sure, it may not be the smartest thing to talk to random people, he'd be bound to meet some slightly bad guys, but he could take care of himself, and frankly, he didn't have too many friends. Either people couldn't stand him, or he managed to make a new friend, it seemed. More often then not, people couldn't stand him, however. Or at least, this was his opinion.

This Ixi, Alice, froze when the simple word of another reached her two-toned ears. She hadn't expected anyone to be this deep in the forest, and she wasn't exactly the best at dealing with people outside of those who resided in her world.
She began to pat her dress, brushing away invisible dust. What an odd outfit she was wearing. It was a light blue, frilly dress that cut off a few inches above her knees. This was complimented by bits of black, usually in the form of ribbon, but she wore striped stockings and black dress shoes with it. And we cannot forget the black ribbon sitting upon her head, used like a headband to hold her slightly wavy, blond hair.
After a few moments of pretending to clean her dress, Alice turned around to face the other. "Erm...Hello...." She said rather quietly. As she spoke she took in the other figure's features with her bright magenta, joker marked eyes.

Refaine smiled, continuing forward. "So, what are you doing in the middle of a spooky, uninhabited forest?" He asked curiously, cocking his head to one side as he usually did when asking questions. He closed his lighter, sticking it in one pocket, as he did with his hands. Best not look too insane, like you're about to set the forest on fire. He though, that's probably how it would look, though he wouldn't go that far. At the most, maybe a few leaves.

"Uh..." Alice wasn't exactly sure what to say. For one thing, she never expected this. "I guess you could say it just reminds me a little of my home." She paused, and a half smile appeared on her face. "Eh, if that makes any sense." That's one thing she forgot; in saying that it reminded her of her home one would assume she lived in a forest, and that wasn't a normal thing for this world. "What about you? It seems odd that two different people would like being so deep in a place like this."

"Wow, you must live in a pretty interesting place." He smiled, looking around the dense forest before turning back to her. "Eh, well this may sound a bit weird, but when I have nothing better to do, I sort of just wander. And because I usually don't have to leave at a specific time or have any appointments or anything, I can just keep going. A lot of the time, I end up in places I've never even heard of, and get lost a bunch. But it's interesting, and somehow, I always make it out." He grinned, thankful for the fact that he hasn't got lost in a desert or anything and starved to death. It was definately interesting, seeing so many places.

"Yea...its pretty interesting...different..." Her mind was trailing off to think about that odd world she created. At first it was rather cheerful, but after her family died and she was sent away, it became a darker place. "That sounds nice. Actually, its rather fun. You get to see a lot of different places that way and, if you're lucky, you may find something very few know about. You may even stumble across things you never knew existed."

"Yup, it's definately worth it. The world has some beautiful sights, ya know?" He smiled, remembering a few of the amazing things he had seen. It was sort of depressing to think how much people missed when they passed through their lives without so much as a glance towards the world they live in. "I love finding those little minute paradises, that nobody knows about." He grinned, how stupid he must sound.

Alice smiled. "Indeed it is. But the world now a days, its beginning to become tainted. Many don't understand it, but they are slowly killing themselves and everyone else in this world." She turned her head away a moment. "It seems like almost everyone is hurting each other and everything good about life."

"True, the world can be pretty bad, and people hurt each other, but there are still a lot of good people in the world, which makes life livable." He shrugged, maybe he was an optimist, he had no idea, but he knew, there was good in the world, as well as bad. "Best not to focus purely on those bad parts of life, there are so many nice little moments, too." He smiled. Well, for the moment, maybe he was an optimist, though he did lose faith in this world a lot, himself.

She sighed, "I suppose you're right..." she looked back at him, and a small smile appeared on her face. Something that she hadn't expected to happen without being with someone from Wonderland. "Actually, I know thats right. It is best to see past those who do the wrong, but what happens when you've experienced it firsthand?" she paused. "When a lot of people lie to you, cheat you, and betray you it can become a very hard thing to trust a lot people."

Refaine frowned lightly, listening to what she had said. "Well, I suppose when you're around people who only lie, cheat, and betray you, you should find some different company. Or at least, someone to go to so you can smile more." He shrugged, well at least she smiled, so the world wasn't a total failure.

Alice thought about it a moment, and nodded lightly. "I..guess you're right..." Her words were quiet. "Thanks." At that time she had turned around, and seemed to be fidgeting with something infront of her. Then she suddenly turned back around, holding an odd, dark purple flower.
"I don't even know you're name, but I'm glad to have run into you." She held out the flower in one hand. "This flower actually grows wild where my home is. Its rare, so I doubt you'll find anything quite like it around here. It makes sense that you take it as a way show my thanks. And, er, sorry for ranting on about my problems. We don't even really know each other and yet I went on and bothered you with all that."
