"Yeah, I thought it was a bit interesting, too." He replied, holding it up to the sun in hopes it would aid in telling what it was.
"Ah, the ancient orb of elements, a powerful, mysterious item from thousands of years, belonging to a tribe closely related to the Azteks. You have an eye for fine things, sir. This magical orb is said to possess many unknown powers." The strange man said, in hopes of getting a sale, as the rays of the sun hit the orb. As this happened, the light reflected in three directions, separated from the bronze that decorated it. The light shone in peculiar designs, shining with an array of colors on all that it hit, which was quite beautiful.
"Well, don't exactly believe the magic part of it, but I'll take it." he said, dropping it down from the suns view and pulling out some money, handing it to the man.

Alice moved a little closer, hoping to inspect the odd necklace-like item a little. "Whether that story is true or not, its rather fascinating." she said.
But then the item in her hands stole her attention momentarily. She held the little doll up and smiled slightly. In her other hand was a ticket of paper that came with it. It had said something mentioning the gold key and a bit of a story behind it, but it didn't really give much details.
"It seems we've both found something of our interests."

"Definately." He nodded, tossing it up just a bit and catching it in his hand before he pocketted it, his eyes drifting over to the doll she had bought. "Whats that?" He asked curiously. Well, of course he knew it was a doll, though he was curious about the peice of paper it came with. Was a strange doll, however, with a key like that.

Alice's eyes drifted from the doll to Refaine as he spoke, but soon went back. They seemed to be examining the doll a little, hoping to unravel its secrets. "I'm not really sure..." she said, her voice trailing off into a whisper. She held up the ticket of paper. "This really doesn't say much, but there is supposed to be some sort of legend around the gold key it holds. I'm just not exactly sure what, as some of the ink is smudged off the paper." she paused. "But seeing as its supposed to hold a legend, and it has to do about a key, I couldn't help myself but to get it."

"That's pretty interesting." He said with a grin, looking over the doll with obvious curiousity. "Smudged illegible ink fortelling an unknown mystery, that's pretty cool." He said with a smile. It sounded like the beginning of a book or something, where the doll leads to an array of exciting adventures.

Alice smiled faintly. "Yea, it is." she agreed. She took another moment to look over the small key-holding doll, and then carefully placed it into the pocket on her apron(-like thing).
"I suppose we should continue looking for things." she said, her eyes searching the other stalls. But then a question hit her. "Hey Refaine, do you actually like shopping? I don't want to force you to, if you don't really like it."

"Yeah, shopping is fine, for this kind of stuff, at least." He replied with a smile. Well, he never was a fan of clothes shopping, though finding peculiar things like this was always good. Especially since they had such interesting, one of a kind things here.
He stepped forward a bit, walking by some stalls, while stopping briefly in front of ones that seemed more appealing to him. "You're not bored of this, right?" He asked curiously, wandering if she was one for shopping.

Alice nodded lightly. It was good that Refaine didn't mind this. It was nice to have company, even when just shopping. It made things all the more interesting. "No, its actually kind of fun. Well, when shopping alone its not, but I'm not alone today, so its more fun." she said smiling.
Then something caught her eye. She walked over to one of the stalls, and looked curiously at the crystal items scattered along the table. "Wow. These are really pretty..." she said in almost a mumble. It wasn't clear if she was merely speaking to herself, or meant for him to hear.
She found her interest captivated by three figurines. A set of crystal roses. She held one up carefully in front of her face, twirling it slowly in her hand and allowing her eyes to dance around its surface.

"That's good, glad you're having fun." He replied with a toothy smile, before looking through the stalls once again. "Wow, yeah, those are definately beautiful." He nodded, looking down to them. "Want one?" He asked, looking over to her curiously as she held the rose. "I have a pretty good amount of cash left, might as well spend it." he offered with a smile to her.

Alice smiled faintly. At Refaine's first comment. But before replying to his second, she took another look at the roses and shook her head. "I couldn't ask you to spend your money on me. And besides, you bought the food. I should buy something for you before I allow you to get me anything else." she pointed out, looking up to him. "I think I'll get these for my friends back home. But I want to get you something, too, since you're like my friend now." She hoped she was right about her last words. That he considered her a friend, too.

"You don't need to get me stuff to be my friend." He replied with a smile to her. "But, if you don't want it, alright." He replied with a shrug, looking over the rest of the stall curiously. That was cool, that she considered him a friend, he didn't have too many of those. "See anything else interesting?" He asked, glancing to the stall next to them. The crystal one was beautiful, though he had no idea what he would do with crystals, maybe decoration.

"I know but still, I want to get something for you." Alice said, watching Refaine as he looked away from the stand that she stood before. She did some dealing with the owner of the stand, quietly, and was handed a small bag. She actually purchased the set of crystal roses for the three waiting back in Wonderland. It was like she went on a trip to some far off country and was planning on bringing back some souvenirs. "I'm not really sure." she said honestly. She had no idea what she liked to a point. Anything odd, that's all she knew. "What kind of stuff do you like to get?" she asked him now.

"Alright, if you want." He said with a shrug. He wasn't quite used to getting presents, but if she insisted. "Me? Um, hm, most anything is good really, I'm not quite sure what sort of things I like, I suppose." He said with a grin, scratching the back of his neck. He was too easy to shop for, or hard, if you think about it, both, in a strange way.
